How and when to turn in your payroll timesheets..
On the contract service application the client and their sales person make the decision as to what their pay periods and check dates will be. They also try to give us in payroll a two day turn around, sometimes this will not work because of the clients pay period date. We can work through this. The client is to fax or call in their time on the date that is was agreed to per the contract service application.
Which time sheet to use:
We furnish time sheets:
The first is the simple time sheet with employee name, employee ID, and the option of listing pay rates. These are ran after the current payroll has been posted, and will have your next pay period dates on it, and any changes that may have occurred since the last time sheet (new employees, pay rate changes, etc.)
The other time sheet gives you an option to split the hours each employee works between three different jobs per day.
Remote Time Ticket Entry System (RTTE):
The purpose of the Remote Time Ticket Entry System (RTTE) is to give Business Staffing's clients better service. Payroll data can be entered daily and it allow the client immediate access to any report they may need. The reports can be by Employee, by Job, by Department or Job Costing. RTTE can automatically allocate overtime to the proper day and reports by Job. Once the cost of payroll cycle has been established, the RTTE system is designed to provide the capability of allocating indirect costs based on the detail time information to each job or each department. The system allows each client to establish its internal rules for allocating the indirect costs. These rules can be changed easily as business conditions change.
Salaried Employees:
Even though the salaried employees have a set dollar amount, hours need to be turned in on them. This allows for accurate records for various reporting agencies.
Special Reports you may need:
